Legit as a company: the licence
The details we recorded on 28 September 2026 name Scores55 Tech B.V., registered in Curaçao under number 162990, and a Curaçao Gaming Control Board licence OGL/2024/1307/0748. The terms of the Australian site refer to the Civil Code of Curaçao and put disputes into arbitration in Curaçao. The FAQ says the games run under “our Curacao gaming license” and RNG certification. That is a coherent picture of one offshore operator, and it is the same operator behind the brand’s other country sites.
What we could not do on 29 September was open a validator page from the Australian address, because the Australian footer did not show the licence seal that day. The checklist below tells you what to do with that.
| What | Value | Checked |
|---|---|---|
| Operator | Scores55 Tech B.V., reg. 162990 | 28 September 2026 |
| Licence | Curaçao GCB, OGL/2024/1307/0748 | 28 September 2026 |
| Seal on the Australian footer | Not shown | 29 September 2026 |

Legit in Australia: what the law says
Online casinos and online pokies cannot be licensed in Australia. The Interactive Gambling Act 2001 makes it an offence to provide them to people here, and the penalties in the Act are aimed at providers. There is no offence for the person who plays. ACMA, the federal regulator, asks internet providers to block sites that breach the Act, and the public list of blocked domains includes rocketplay.com and further RocketPlay names. The Australian version has moved to numbered addresses as a result.
So when a page tells you RocketPlay is legal here or approved by the regulator, it is wrong on both counts. When a page tells you that you will be prosecuted for playing, it is also wrong. The accurate line is short: an offshore, Curaçao-licensed operator, serving Australians in breach of the Act, with the consequences landing on the operator’s domains rather than on you.
Legit as an address: the numbered names
The brand has used a long series of numbered addresses. Searches for “rocketplay 13 legit” or “rocketplay 14 legit” show the problem: a number on its own tells you nothing about who is behind the page. The operator’s Australian address on 28 and 29 September 2026 was rocketplay32.com. Some lower numbers were the operator’s earlier homes and now redirect; others were never theirs.
Copies do exist. In the same search results we found look-alike domains with the brand name spelled slightly wrong, or with the word Australia attached, that carry their own registration forms. A copy that takes your card details has nothing to do with the licence above. The numbered sites page sets out the four checks, and the short version is: the footer names the licence, the seal opens a validator that lists the address you are on, the cashier shows the same $25 card minimum and $6,000 cap as our board, and the address is the one our button opened rather than one from a message.
Legit as a casino that pays
Three written facts and one missing one. The written facts: withdrawals require a verified account and a 1x wager on the last deposit; approval on the operator’s side takes up to 24 hours; caps are 9,000 AUD a week and 35,000 AUD a month. The missing one is our own test. We have not yet deposited and withdrawn our own money, and until we have, we will not tell you how many hours a payout takes. The withdrawals page has every limit per method and will carry our AWST timestamps when the test is done.
The complaint registers on 28 September 2026: AskGamblers listed 11 complaints and shows the brand with its certificate; Casino Guru rated the brand highly on its safety index. We record both as the registers showed them, not as our verdict.
Things the terms say that a player should know
Clause 4.4 lists territories where NetEnt games may not be offered, and Australia is on that list. Clause 8.6 sets the minimum withdrawal at 25 in the operator’s base currency, which converts to more than the $30 per-method floor in AUD. Clause 8.8 sets the weekly and monthly caps above. The FAQ says a second account is not allowed and that an underage account is deleted after an age check. None of this is unusual; all of it is the kind of thing you want to have read before, not after, a large win.
Tax, in one paragraph
Gambling winnings of a recreational player are not income in Australia, and the ATO’s ruling IT 2655 says so; the exception is a professional gambler running a business. That holds whether the casino is in Curaçao or anywhere else. What you do need to keep is the record of deposits and withdrawals for your own budgeting, and the set limits page covers the tools the site offers for that.

My verdict
The operator behind RocketPlay is a real, licensed company in Curaçao with a written withdrawal process and a complaint record that is modest for a brand this size. That is the honest answer to “is it legit”. The second question, whether the address you are on is theirs, needs the checklist below every time, because numbered names change and copies exist. And the third fact does not go away: no online casino is licensed in Australia, so what you get here is an offshore operator's word and its Curaçao regulator, not an Australian one. Deposit only what that is worth to you.
Questions Australians ask about is it legit?
Is RocketPlay legal in Australia?
The Interactive Gambling Act 2001 prohibits offering online casino games to people in Australia and puts the penalties on providers. The player commits no offence under the Act. RocketPlay operates from Curaçao and serves an Australian-facing site anyway; ACMA has added rocketplay.com and further domains to its blocking list.
Is RocketPlay licensed in Australia?
No, and no online casino is. The licence RocketPlay names is issued by the Curaçao Gaming Control Board according to the operator's own pages. ACMA does not license casinos; it is the federal regulator that enforces the blocking list.
Why does the address have a number in it?
Because earlier addresses were blocked by Australian internet providers on ACMA's request. The operator moves the Australian version to a new numbered name when that happens. On 28 and 29 September 2026 it answered at rocketplay32.com.
Are rocketplay13 or rocketplay14 legit?
Numbers on their own prove nothing. Some numbered names are the operator's past or present addresses; others are copies built to catch the search. Run the numbered sites checklist: footer licence line, validator, cashier figures, and the address our button opens.
Does RocketPlay pay out?
Its FAQ sets out the process: verified account, 1x wager on the last deposit, up to 24 hours of approval on its side, then the provider's time. AskGamblers listed 11 complaints on 28 September 2026. We have not yet withdrawn our own money and will publish the timing when we have.
Are winnings from RocketPlay taxed in Australia?
For a recreational player, gambling winnings are not taxed in Australia; the ATO's ruling IT 2655 sets that out, with professional gamblers as the exception. Where the casino sits does not change that.
